VINYL NIGHT

A very exciting date for your diary, HALCYON DREAMS have a Vinyl night organised in Mold,, info below....
Halcyon Dreams is proud to present a Bring Your Own Vinyl Night in Mold this November. The idea is that people can bring their own vinyl along on the night and then have a 15 minute session on the decks playing whatever they choose from any genre or era. This is a great way to socialise with other individuals passionate about music and to discover new artists you didn't know existed. I will be on hand to help individuals who have not used a DJ set up before.
The first night will be held on 29th November at the Queens Head pub in Mold from 8pm till late.

BLACK FRIDAY is coming (and more of those exclusive releases), with the first listings posted on the RSD page on our website. These are the first confirmations, many more to come and listings on the RSD page will be updated on a regular basis. Being a Friday and getting those releases can be tricky so we are looking for a solution for all the 9 to 5ers.Keep watchin' as just over a Month till BLACK FRIDAY 2013 on November 29th.

Newspaper error

Just in case anyone read the Chronicle today (especially the Daniel Owen Community Centre listings), there isn't another Record Fair Saturday in Mold, the Newspaper has put last weeks listing in again!

One great Fair deserves another

Thanks to all for the tremendous support for todays Record Fair in Mold (not forgetting those who popped into the shop). Despite it being a bit of a squeeze at the Daniel Owen Community Centre, it still remains a very popular venue. Next stop is Central Station, Wrexham.....our first visit and one we are really looking forward to on Saturday November 23rd. There will be lots more room and stalls so put this in your diary.
The local interest in these events is very much appreciated, we hope you all enjoyed the day (and dodged that late downpour!).

Record Fair this Saturday 19th October

RECORD FAIR THIS SATURDAY IN MOLD
VOD Music's next event is this Saturday 19th October at the Daniel Owen Community Centre from 10am-4pm.
Top UK dealers will be attending what is to be our 50th Record Fair in North East Wales.These events have been
running since 2006 and have proved to be very popular with lovers of real music.
With a vast selection of Vinyl,CD's,DVD's,Memorabilia on offer, be sure to head to Mold on Saturday.
Our Record shop on New Street in the Town will also remain open for the duration of the Fair.

The Tardis

No, not referring to our shop....just to let you know that the Dr.Who OST new release is in on double vinyl.
Lots of other vinyl additions, including the first 5 POPOL VUH albums also just lovingly re issued.

Whilst this day is much bigger in the USA and not really taken off over here to date, we fully intend to have a selection of Black Friday releases in for the day.
Anything thats coming in will be listed on the RSD page on the run up to the day, so keep watching. If you have a particular title you are after, let us know in advance and we see what we can do.

Vinyl arrivals this week

HAIM-Days are gone now in on vinyl, MAZZY STAR restocked, MOON DUOs-CIRCLES back in after a long wait as is MAZES by the band. Also TAME IMPALA-LONERISM returned to the racks with NICK DRAKES-FIVE LEAVES LEFT also in. Add to this a restock of the stunning first SOUL JAZZ krautrock 2 LP compilations and the more recent second edition (Volume A).
Anyone who wants the new JONATHAN WILSON LP let me know as all stock has been pre-ordered.
And we still have the small matter of those BOARDS OF CANADA and POPOL VUH reissues due to arrive very soon....
