The 12 Days of Christmas

THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS is a new intiative by one of the major labels, exclusive very limited release a day for 12 days in December.
All twelve titles  listed below, as with Black Friday very limited numbers of each in some cases only one or two.

RESERVATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS, STRICTLY NO MAIL ORDER .....ANY TITLE RESERVED MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE SHOP ON OR AFTER THE DAY (RESERVATIONS TO BE COLLECTED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF RELEASE DATE)

Late night opening Tuesday 25th November

LATE NIGHT OPENING- this coming Tuesday (25th November) we will be open 4pm-8pm for the Christmas Lights switch on in Mold. We will have FREE light bites/ refreshments instore on the night with a FREE lucky dip for  music related items. So if you are in town pop in.....the lights are officially switched on at 6pm.

Additional VOD times

Normal Shop hours this Friday and Saturday with a POP UP  new vinyl stall tomorrow night at the Compass,Chester (Friday 21st November) as part of the next ROPE night with headliners GRUMBLING FUR. Next week in addition to normal hours we will have late night opening Tuesday (Christmas Lights switch on in Mold) and Black Friday which funnily enough is on the Friday.....more info on the way at the Weekend.

Our shop is featured  (22nd Nov.issue) in the NME's weekly TOP OF THE SHOPS section below the Official Record Store Chart on page 20 . Look for the sign if you want a peek.....out Wednesday 19th November.

Another Pop up at ROPE night

We have another new vinyl  POP UP stall at The Compass,Chester this Friday 21st November as part of the next ROPE night .GRUMBLING FUR bring their astral planing, shapeshifting avant-popscapes to ROPE  in support of their new album Preternaturals....Support comes from MEILIR, TORPA, ROPE DJs  .

Black Friday update

There are some titles we expect to arrive now listed on the RSD page on our website. Confirmations will be right up to the last minute before the day on November 28th. In addtion one of the major labels has decided to do there own thing and are launching 12 days of Christmas. This is an exclusive limited edition release a day for 12 days from December 1st. We will also be stocking these and will post out the releases and relevant dates very soon.

Crackling Vinyls 3rd Birthday part 2 tonight

TELFORDS WAREHOUSE TONIGHT: Tonight (Tuesday Nov.11th) sees Crackling Vinyl's 3rd birthday celebrations culminate in a night of particularly brilliant live music, VOD Music Record Stall (New Vinyl) and fine booze at Telford's Warehouse in Chester.
TENDER PREY'S set at this years Festival No.6 & HEAVY PETTING ZOO'S appearance at last years Swn Festival were two standout performances. Tender Prey offer plenty of reverb and a dangerous, interesting new take on the blues. The lively Heavy Petting Zoo are Swansea’s own garage/surf rock group. 7.30pm onwards....
